Meet Azealia | eleven days new

She is as pretty as her name is and was as sweet as could be.

Capturing the early days of a newborn’s life is a precious art form that requires planning, patience, and creativity. A newborn portrait session isn't just about taking pictures; it involves some planning in advance to create an experience and capture stunning images that parents will treasure forever.

Here are some things I do to plan a one of a kind newborn session:

Start With a Pre-Session Consultation

Before the session, I schedule a short phone or in-person consultation with the parents. Here are some things I ask during a consultation:

  • Their nursery colors or theme
  • Favorite colors or style of décor in their home
  • Whether they prefer soft neutrals, whimsical colors, or something bold
  • Any meaningful items (blankets, heirlooms, stuffed animals)

This helps me design a session that feels personal for my clients.

From the consultation that I had with Azealia's mom...I knew that the colors of the nursery included the use grays, pinks, white and a touch of black.  Mom also wanted some roses incorpated into the session.  I didn't have have any pink roses on hand, but I made sure to purchase some pink tea roses for her baby girl's newborn session.  Tiny and delicate.

I absolutely love how Azealia's newborn portrait session turned out and I know her parents will have some lasting memories of their daughter that they will be able to treasure forever.

A beautiful 16x20 mounted wall portrait and (15) 4x6 mounted prints with an image case and USB Flash Drive that includes a digital images of each print ordered.  This artwork is what the end result of your portrait session.  Beautiful printed pieces to enjoy for many, many years.
